top 100 List! This is ULS’
fifth consecutive year being recognized in the BE 100 list of the largest
black-owned businesses in the United States!
Pittsburgh, PA - July 30, 2013 – Once again, for the fifth consecutive year, Black Enterprise Magazine’s BE 100 list of the largest black-owned businesses in the United States, names Urban Lending Solutions (ULS), provider of premier residential mortgage products and services, in the magazine’s top 100 list! This year, ULS made the Top 20! ULS was listed No. 16, up from No. 31 last year, with $183.5 million in revenue!
Inc. 500 also recognized ULS’ achievements for the last five years in its list of fastest-growing private companies. Chuck Sanders, founder and CEO, was named one of the Top 10 black entrepreneurs in the nation by Inc 500 magazine and was the winner for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2012 Award in the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia region for the services industry.
The BE 100 listing ranks companies based on their employee growth and revenue and ULS definitely meets the magazine’s qualifications. The BE 100 is recognized as the most respected measure of black-owned business performance in the United States. A company must be at least 51 percent black-owned and fully operational for the previous calendar year to be eligible for inclusion on the BE 100 list. In addition, the company must manufacture or own the products it sells or provide industrial or consumer services.
